Things have taken off in Pokémon Emerald! I had some issues in the beginning obtaining my stock of 900 Master Balls, but I’ve since overcome those struggles, and have been catching new Pokémon left and right!
The first gym leader has fallen before my party, and I have my first badge in hand.
For this playthrough, I might try something a little different to build my party. Since I can catch legendary Pokémon in the wild, I plan on using as many legendary Pokémon in my party as I can, so long as their type fits well with my current party.
So far, I’ve caught a Suicune that I’ve added to my party to be my Water type, and I’ve also caught a Moltres that I’ve not yet added to my party because I’m not sure which current member I’ll replace. It seems like Moltres will be the Pokémon I teach Fly to eventually, since I don’t currently have a Flying type in my party.
